Remove one statement, one device copy, or the whole household.

Oikonomia separates browser data, Google Drive files, and minimal Cloudflare records. Use the level that matches what you want removed.

Remove an uploaded statement

1. Open Household setup → Statements.
2. Find the statement and choose Remove.
3. Confirm the removal. Oikonomia removes the saved statement, its analysis report, and associated import records.
4. Review the budget afterward if that statement had already changed the household plan.

Clear this browser

1. Open Oikonomia and go to More.
2. Open Settings and choose Erase this device.
3. Confirm. This clears the household record held in that browser. It does not touch the shared copy in Google Drive, and signing in again on that device will load the household copy back.

Delete Drive files directly

The Head of Household owns the folder named Oikonomia - [Household name] in Google Drive. Households created before the rebrand may still use BudgetBridge - [Household name]. The Head may download a backup and move that folder to Google Drive’s trash. Drive retention and permanent deletion then follow the Google account’s settings.

Delete the whole household

1. Open Household setup as the Head of Household.
2. Open People in this household and choose Delete household.
3. Type the household name exactly. Oikonomia moves the household Drive folder to trash and removes shared membership, import jobs, and analysis records from Cloudflare D1.
4. Restore the folder from Google Drive trash if it was removed by mistake; shared Oikonomia access must be set up again.

What deletion cannot retract

Deletion cannot recall information already exported by a household member or already processed by a third-party AI provider. Review OpenRouter and the selected model provider’s retention controls when using AI features.
