Remove one statement, one device copy, or the whole household.
BudgetBridge separates browser data, Google Drive files, and minimal Cloudflare records. Use the level that matches what you want removed.
Instructions updated 5 August 2026Remove an uploaded statement
- Open Household setup → Statements.
- Find the statement and choose Remove.
- Confirm the removal. BudgetBridge removes the saved statement, its analysis report, and associated import records.
- Review the budget afterward if that statement had already changed the household plan.
Clear this browser
- Open BudgetBridge and go to More.
- Choose Clear this device.
- Confirm. This clears the browser working copy and signs out on that device.
Delete Drive files directly
The Head of Household owns the folder named BudgetBridge - [Household name] in Google Drive. The Head may download a backup and move that folder to Google Drive’s trash. Drive retention and permanent deletion then follow the Google account’s settings.
Request deletion of operational records
To remove the household membership and minimal Cloudflare D1 records, open a private support request through the project maintainer. Start at the Support page. Do not put statements, API keys, account numbers, or other financial details in a public GitHub issue. The maintainer may ask you to verify control of the connected account through a safe channel before deleting records.
What deletion cannot retract
Deletion cannot recall information already exported by a household member or already processed by a third-party AI provider. Review OpenRouter and the selected model provider’s retention controls when using AI features.
