Connect the Head of Household
BudgetBridge asks only for basic Google identity and access to files it creates or you choose.
Your statements and AI memory stay in the Head of Household’s Google Drive.
BudgetBridge asks only for basic Google identity and access to files it creates or you choose.
One household has one Head of Household, one shared code, one AI memory, and one OpenRouter key.
The API key is encrypted before it is stored in the household’s Drive. AI providers receive the questions and summaries you send. Free providers may keep prompts, so never type account numbers or other private identifiers into an AI question.
BudgetBridge saves each PDF or CSV in Google Drive and reads it on your device. For the AI explanation, it sends only totals, months, spending-group names and amounts—not the PDF, account numbers, transaction descriptions or merchant names.
Each file shows whether it is opening, reading pages, checking transactions, calculating totals, preparing guidance, finished, or stopped.
